Pop Culture in Graph Form

April 8, 2008

GraphJam LogoAbout a week ago I was surfing the Blogosphere and somewhere found a link to GraphJam, a blog that posts humorous pop culture jokes in graph form. The site posts about three or four a day, and I find many of them to be quite witty. I’ve found there to be lots of jokes relating to rappers as well as a significant number from classic songs from the 80s and 90s. I’ve really enjoyed the site and think it’s worth a look.

Admittedly, I know they weren’t the first to do this. I’ve seen these things on Flickr before in the Song Chart pool, and they have a more extensive collection there. I also understand that Something Awful Forums have done these in the past (figures, eh?) as has some other site they give credit to. The reason I promote GraphJam, though, is not the quality, as they all are pretty similar in that some of the graphs are funny and some not; rather, GraphJam is in blog form thus making it possible to subscribe to their RSS feed and have a few funny images delivered to you each day.

So try it out. And speaking of RSS feeds, subscribe to ours, too!
