March Madness
March 21, 2008
Once again, March Madness is upon us. For those not familiar with this, its an annual college basketball year end tournament. Everyone fills out brackets with their picks for the field of 64 hoping to get that perfect bracket. This involves spending lots of time researching teams, following scores, etc. Newsweek did an article about the amount of lost productivity in the workplace. This year, CBS is streaming live games. Chances are, when you walk by that cubicle guy that is always minimizing his screen when someone walks by, thats what he is watching. Anyway, March Madness distractions could cost American companies about $1.7 billion in lost productivity. How much time have you spent?
