Context Matters

Context Matters Slinky

Don’t believe context matters?

It does.

When a 28-year-old man says to you, “This morning I fell down the stairs,” you laugh at him and tell your friends.

When an 82-year-old man says to you, “This morning I fell down the stairs,” you gasp and ask if he’s been to the hospital.

Context matters.

Hey Steven, I just jumped over here from SCL. You've convinced me – context matters, big time. I liked your post about becoming more rounded in 2010 too. I hope this year is a great year of blogging for you. See you around!

    That is so true!

When your eight year old says "Daddy I crashed your car" it has a whole different meaning then when your 18 year old says the same thing!
