Briefly, here’s what I’m thinking about the instant legend that is Google Me:
- There’s hope. The reality is that we’re seeing lots of influential people who are more and more disenchanted with Facebook (while not necessarily an influential person myself, I fall into the disenchanted category). People don’t like Facebook’s past, and they’re often scared about its future. If someone will beat Facebook, now’s the time.

I’ll be straight up. Vuvuzelas are awesome. Sure, they may induce premature hearing loss due to their unbearable volume. They may require me to turn my TV volume up into the 50′s to hear what the commentators are saying. They probably even scare children. However, I love them.
I could develop a sustained argument here why I think that vuvuzelas are great, but I can’t begin to imagine why one would even be necessary. Instead, I’m going to share some vuvuzela-related links with you, the true fan of the vuvuzela. (more…)

A couple of months back, I attended Wheaton’s annual Theology Conference, at which N.T. Wright was the featured speaker (and topic, really). During a chapel message that he gave, he challenged the students to work at memorizing the book of Ephesians. At about the same time, I had just finished memorizing Romans 8 to fulfill a course requirement, and as a result the idea of memorization got my attention. (more…)
